Growing up around dentistry taught me precision and genuine care. Intentionality is how I approach everything. During dental school at New York University, I learned what happens when every detail is thoughtfully considered: in design, in service, and in experience.

For years, I delivered excellent clinical care. But I couldn't practice the way I wanted to. Policies restricted my time with nervous patients. The environment contradicted the care I was trying to provide: sterile, rushed, cold. Patients requested me specifically because I slowed down and treated them as human beings, not cases. That gap between excellent care and a discomforting experience became impossible to ignore. I knew it didn't have to be this way.

Years as an associate taught me exactly what I wanted to build. Then I walked into the space in Shirlington: natural light pouring through curved windows overlooking the village. It felt alive and intentional. For five years, I had been absorbing design, color, and spaces that moved me - things that felt intentional and refined. In that moment, I knew. This was the space where I would create what I had envisioned.

Every patient who walks through these doors deserves more than clinical competence. They deserve to feel heard, respected, and understood. They deserve a space that doesn't remind them to be afraid. I built this practice so I could finally practice the way I've always believed I should: with time for the people who need it, with honesty about their care, with genuine empathy for what dentistry means to them. This space exists to support that philosophy. Everything here, from the design to how we move through each day, is built around one principle: you matter.
